Dr. Bijesh V. V. is a highly experienced Paediatric Cardiologist with over a decade of expertise in managing congenital and acquired heart diseases in children. He earned his MBBS from Calicut University in 2003, followed by an MD in Paediatrics from APS University, Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, in 2008. Driven by a dedicated interest in cardiac care for the youngest patients, he completed his FNB in Paediatric Cardiology in 2014 and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Paediatric Cardiology from MGR University, Chennai, in 2017.
Dr. Bijesh has a profound clinical focus on fetal cardiology and the comprehensive management of pediatric heart conditions. His academic and professional journey includes serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Paediatrics at Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, Thrissur, from 2009 to 2012. Before his current appointment, he spent five years as a Consultant in the Department of Paediatric Cardiology at Lisie Hospital, Kochi. During his tenure at Lisie, he was instrumental in organizing numerous training workshops and webinars, while also actively mentoring and teaching DNB Cardiology residents.
A contributor to the medical community, Dr. Bijesh has published research in several prestigious national and international journals. Having previously served at Aster Medcity, Kochi, he joined Edappal Hospitals Pvt Ltd in December 2023, where he currently serves as a Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist.
