Edappal Hospitals Pvt Ltd was founded by Dr K.K. Gopinathan in 1985. But, it was not until 1990 that the institution was formally erected. Dr Gopinathan a well-known gynaecologist and obstetrician wish to serve the community more by providing better healthcare. The dream was to have a world-class facility in a location that can be accessed by many. Edappal- a common town and meeting point for the people from Malappuram, Thrissur and Palakkad was the ideal location. Edappal Hospitals Pvt Ltd in the minds, of Dr Gopinathan and his friends, was born then. In brick and mortar existence this multi-specialty hospital has transformed into a service enterprise that stands shoulder to shoulder with premium metropolitan hospitals in the state.
