The Ophthalmology Department has been a fully functional speciality at the hospital since 1999 with a full time highly qualified and experienced Ophthalmic surgeon heading the department. Apart from routine eye-related problems, the ophthalmology section takes care of advanced surgical procedures, cataract surgeries etc. We also do outreach programs by conducting regular testing camps in remote areas of the region. Regular OP services and refraction checkups etc are carried out daily. The Department works closely with the Neonatology using for RDP screening of preterm infants.
