Brought up in Jaipur where he completed his schooling from the prestigious St. Xaviers School.
He completed his Medical Graduation (MBBS) from B J Medical College in Ahmedabad.
He completed his Post-Graduation (DO and MS) from the M & J Western Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad under the guidance of renowned Cornea Surgeon Dr. B. C. Lavingia.
Post MS, he did a one -year Senior Residency in Cornea and Keratoplasty under guidance of Dr. Lavingia.
Dr. Dilip Menon shifted to Kerala in 1999 and since then he has been practising at Edappal Hospitals which is a well-established multi-speciality hospital.
Dr. Dilip has served as a member of the Editoral Board (Proceedings) of the AIOS.
He has been the Editor of the TACOPSIA (the official newsletter of TACO) and PULSE (the official newsletter of IMA, Kunnamkulam).
He has a Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Administration and a Post Graduate Diploma in Geriatric Care to his credit.
Dr. Dilip is a good compere and has been Master of Ceremonies for many conferences.
He is a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist with special interest in Cornea.
